Dental Plans

The dental health of your family is crucial to your overall health. With our dental plans, you have:

  • No deductible for preventive services, such as routine cleanings & checkups
  • The freedom to go to any licensed dentist of your choice
  • Coverage for basic services (routine fillings and extractions) and major services (crowns, bridges, dentures)

  1. Certain preventive care services are covered at 100% before deductible when received in an in-network office or out-patient setting. Other covered services may be subject to deductible and coinsurance. When you receive preventive care out-of-network, you may pay more.   2. Dental plans are not part of the covered health insurance benefits of any Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina plan. Dental plans must be purchased separately.
